Dear Parents and Guardians,
This morning Shelbyville High School was made aware of a domestic situation. After contacting the Shelbyville Police Department a decision was made to put all school district educational buildings on soft lock down. Students remained on soft lock down until receiving clearance from the Shelbyville Police Department. The district is grateful to our local law enforcement for their support in ensuring our students’ safety.
We also appreciate our students, parents and community members who make us aware of situations that require further investigation.
