Shelbyville Main Street Elementary School & Kindergarten Center is completely invested in the social & emotional development of our youth with equal value to academics. The October Focus is Gratitude: “An attitude of Gratitude” with a message regarding a “mindset” shift to focus on the special things about us & people in our lives. This will ensure we are more happy & satisfied in our lives. The other aspect is the “power of appreciation.” We challenge students to notice & capitalize on opportunities to show others that they are important & appreciated.
