GRATITUDE Student-Leaders – November 2021
Shelbyville Main Street Elementary School & Kindergarten Center is completely invested in the Social / Emotional Development of our youth with equal value to academic. This November Focus is Gratitude: “An attitude of Gratitude” with a message regarding a “mindset” shift to focus on the special things about us & people in our lives. This will ensure we are more happy & satisfied in our lives. The other aspect is the “power of appreciation.” We challenge students to notice & capitalize on opportunities to show others that they are important & appreciated. This is powerful for a relationship & you will never regret it. This month’s characters trait focus is sponsored by Monical’s Pizza & owner, Mark Shanks.
