"Main Event" 2022 is an end of the school year CELEBRATION & Family Engagement / School-Community event directed @ (K - 3rd) grade students & families.
This event is Thursday, May 12th, 2022 @ (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) @ Forest Park in Shelbyville.
ALL of the FUN is FREE...except food & drinks.
There will be grade-level MUSIC mini-performances @ the historic Chautauqua in the center of the park w/ Kindergarten @ 5:10 PM / 1st @ 5:35 PM / 2nd @ 6:00 PM / 3rd @ 6:25 PM.
The local MOOSE Lodge will grill hotdogs ($2) & Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches ($4).
Water & soda (Sprite / Coke / Diet Coke) will be available ($1). Tropical-Sno will also be there to serve tasty icy treats.
There will be (2) GIANT INFLATABLES...(60)’ “SHADOW” obstacle course...&
(95)’ “Radical RUN” obstacle course. This will be EPIC; this will be FUN!
Don't forget to capture the memory w/out mom having to take the picture as Jamie McDonald will have a backdrop & taking pictures.
Local Hair Stylists will be providing FUN.
Our very own SHS ART students will be face painting.
Paddi's Air Balloons will be making Balloon ART.
Air Evac will have a HELICOPTER land & be available for pictures & questions.
Mr. Joe Amato will be providing DJ service...dancing is encouraged.
SHS National Honor Society Student-Leaders will be earning service hours & are assisting w/ this event. You may identify them in BRIGHT T-Shirts.
