First JH girls' basketball games of the year just finished. Special shout out to Addison, Hadlee, and Harper. These three girls picked up trash in the stands after the game without any prompting. They did the right thing for the right reason; because it's the right thing to do! Thanks girls!

Mr. Drone's 6th grade class had the option to make a replica of Stonehenge. Here are some of the many great examples!

6th-12th grade students had the pleasure of hearing Ted Wiese speak about leadership. It was awesome! He met with staff yesterday and student council after the assembly. Thank you @HearTedTalk!

Shelbyville Kindergarten students & families are invited to the Shelbyville Kindergarten Center Thursday, September 15th, 2022 @ (5-6) PM to talk with the teacher, visit the classroom, see student work, share a snack with their child/student in the cafeteria where they eat lunch everyday & even have some fun playground time. This is an "open house" format & is just an opportunity to strengthen the school-home connection & partnership.

Before school yesterday, students interested in the rocket launch joined Mr. Helton and Mr. Quast for a launch party. Although the rocket did not take off, the donuts and chocolate milk were "out of this world."

Shelbyville Schools (1st - 12th) grade First Day of School 2022 @ Monday, August 15th, 2022 w/ a 2:00 PM Student dismissal. The Kindergarten Center will have individual student/family sessions to assist with the transition. The 1st day of Kindergarten will be Tuesday, August 16th, 2022. STARS pre-K will have home visits initially & the 1st day will be Friday, August 19th. Reminder: Students may NOT be dropped off until 7:35 AM & school starts by 8:00 AM. Do NOT use N 1st Street for drop-off @ Main Street; this is the "BUS Loading Zone." The alley between the school & the adjacent Methodist Church is most ideal. Please send students with a water bottle each day; we expect a great school year working together!

Congratulations to the Moulton cheer team on bringing home a 1st place trophy for the Game Day Routine Championship and a runner up trophy for the camp routine championship!! We also had 3 girls from the squad make All-American Cheerleader at this year's camp: Caroline Daniel, Meiya Thompson, and Brooklyn Pittman!
